Wave has reached an agreement with ESPN to launch the SEC Network in both standard and high-definition to Wave subscribers. The network is set to kick off on Thursday, August 14th and will cover one of the nation’s most elite college sports conferences—the Southeastern Conference.
The new network will be available to all customers who subscribe to Wave’s Digital Favorites programming tier. This new agreement allows Wave customers to enjoy 24/7 programming of more than 1,000 live events, including SEC football games, men’s/women’s basketball games, baseball games, softball games, and additional events from the SEC’s 21 annual sports. SEC will also air original content studio shows such as SEC Nation, The Paul Finebaum Show and SEC Storied.
The network launch comes two weeks ahead of the 2014-2015 college football season and the first game on August 28th at 3:00p.m. PT, between Texas A&M and South Carolina. The full schedule is available on the SEC Network website or your local listings page.
