Community Support and Spotlight
Wave is supporting Habitat’s 35th anniversary with its first-ever Virtual Gala. All funds raised benefit affordable housing for 60 individuals including 40 children.
Building our community never stops. This year, Wave donated $10,000 to support three of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s signature impact events: Women Build, Hard Hats & High Heels Gala, and Rock the Block event. While all three events have been substantially impacted by COVID-19, the Women Build and the Gala are continuing on virtually. See how you can help.
North Peninsula Food Pantry provides nutrition and sustenance to those in need within our community.
At Second Harvest of Silicon Valley our work is about all of us joining together to make sure we all have access to the most basic need of food.
Monument Crisis Center offers well-rounded programs such as food, health programs to low income families and individuals in Contra Costa County.
Life Moves provides housing for the homeless and programs to get them back on their feet.
YCCA supports families to protect and empower our children. We help families, particularly non-English speaking families, access services, learn valuable parenting skills, and find support. We do this through family strengthening programs which focus on the following areas: 1) family support, 2) parent education, and 3) community collaboration and advocacy.
NAMI Contra Costa is a non-profit organization providing outreach, education, support and advocacy to families and individuals in need of help dealing with mental illness. They have been assisting people and families affected by mental illness in Contra Costa for over 30 years.
Compass Family Services helps families who are experiencing homelessness and those who are at risk become stably housed.
Meals on Wheels Yolo County (People Resources, Inc.) has been providing a daily hot meal to seniors in our region for over 40 years.
Shelter Inc – Food Bank and Homeless Shelter is working to prevent and end homelessness for low income families by providing food, housing, services and other support.
Hamilton Familieis is dedicated to ending family homelessness in the SF Bay Area.
The Salvation Army of Auburn is committed to helping those in need by providing food, shelter and resources after natural disasters.
The Salvation Army of Concord is dedicated to helping the community of Concord with basic needs such as food banks, shelter and resources after a natural disaster such as fires.
Episcopal Community Services provides essential services such as food, housing and legal services in the SF Bay Area.
The Salt Mine of Lincoln, California provides multiple opportunities for food assistance, including pantry boxes, weekly USDA Emergency Food Assistance and three Fresh Food Giveaways each week.
Working to break the cycle of homelessness and domestic violence in the SF Bay Area, the MSC Homeless Shelter offers clean beds, warm meals, mental and physical health care, and more.
Share Food Pantry is dedicated to feeding the homeless in the greater Concord area.
Contra Costa Food Bank provides food to those in need in the Contra Costa/Concord area.
Wave has been delivering energy drinks and snacks to firehouses battling the Oregon wildfires. Wave stands with Oregon and we thank the firefighters for their tireless work!
Anyone in need of a free hot meal can visit Blanchet House of Hospitality at 310 NW Glisan. All are welcome. You will be served with dignity and respect. Breakfast: 6:30-7:30. Lunch: 11:30-12:30. Dinner: 5:00-6:00.
Food Share of Lincoln County distributes emergency food boxes through seven affiliated pantries located in the Coastal Range, Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Newport, Waldport, Siletz and Toledo.
Canby Community Center shares community resources and a safe space; Helping families take steps toward better economic, physical, and spiritual health.
Sandy Community Action Center is a hunger-relief agency serving low-income people who live within the Oregon Trail School District.
Clackamas Service Center offers families and individuals food and other resources for improved safety, health, and stability on their path toward self-sufficiency.
Silverton Area Community Aide improves lives by providing food — fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy, eggs, bread and more — and other services in the Silverton area.
