Kirkand, WA – Wave Broadband announced today the launch of High Speed 50 in its service areas. This new option becomes the fastest internet connection that the company provides, delivering download speeds of 50 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 Mbps.
“We are thrilled to provide faster internet service to our customers,” said Arah Peck, Wave’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve worked diligently to upgrade our network to support DOCSIS 3.0, which is a cutting-edge technology that enables extremely fast internet speeds.”
In comparison to its competitors, Wave’s High Speed 50 outperforms both Comcast’s 50 Mbps service, which is limited by a 250 GB bandwidth cap, and AT&T U-verse’s fastest internet product, which is only 18 Mbps. Residential DSL services typically only offer maximum download speeds of 7 to 10 Mbps, with delivered speeds significantly less than that to the home.
“We remain highly competitive in the market, and we strongly believe that customers get a better value by choosing Wave,” said Peck.
Wave offers High Speed 50 at a regular price of $99.95/month with cable or phone service, or $124.95/month a la carte. For additional information on the service, including relevant sales, please go here.
