Devon is 29. She works at least 50 hours a week as the manager of a convenience store in McKinney. She is very fair, and all employees love her. She has many regular customers that say her smile and personality make their day. With her job, she is on the front line, in a sense. Most of her free time goes to helping others. She makes a trip several times a month, to visit her 84 year old grandma, and if she finds grandma needs something, she buys it for her. She watches relative's children, anywhere from 1 to 3 at a time, so their parents can get out for a bit alone. She ongoing has been visiting her 2-year-old nephew, who has cancer, at a hospital in Dallas, and watches him when he is home sometimes so his parents can get out alone. And she does all these things usually with pain from her arthritis. She is the most amazing, caring, well rounded person I know. And I'm so very proud to say, she is my daughter.

Kenneth protects his state and country by serving in the Army National Guard but also serves and protects his community as a volunteer firefighter. He loves doing what he does every single day.

Cathy works as a nurse at our local hospital. She goes to work every day risking her life and those of her family. She is also a wonderful neighbor! Thank you, Cathy, for all you do!

Jeremy is the General Manager at a local retail store. His job is deemed essential, so he has risked his health and his family's health by working over 10 hours every day to help out the community during these unprecedented times. He is always smiling and grateful to work despite all the chaos that's keeps him away from his three boys.

Less than a year out of school, Megan began working at the hospital. When nurses panicked during these hard times of Coronavirus, she stepped up to the plate and worked the Covid 19 floor. She mentioned she was scared, but she became a nurse to help people and that was what she was doing. We are so proud and lucky to have her.

I nominate my wife Dianna because she is my hero during this pandemic as all medical staff are, but my wife is an incredible nurse with ice in her veins and a look of Wyatt Earp staring down Covid 19 at high noon! She moves through her daily routine like a New York ballerina but with ninja like reflexes of Bruce Lee! I told her I was worried about her and she said it's no different than when I was in Iraq fighting. Please pick my wife! She has seen Ozark on Netflix so yeah, she's one tough woman!
