The new gigabit internet tier recently became available to all area residences serviced by Wave, bringing its fastest connectivity speeds available in the area, including several places that will be getting gigabit service for the first time.
Members of the community and the press are invited to join City officials and Wave’s executives to officially launch the groundbreaking service at Wave’s Lincoln store, 900 Sterling Parkway #40, on Wednesday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. The event is free and includes prizes, refreshments, product demonstrations and Q&A regarding the service that brings some area internet speeds up to four times faster than what has previously been available.
Wave’s Gig Speed delivers the capability of download speeds of up to 1,000 Megabits per second (Mbps), providing connections as fast as consumer devices can handle. This class of service provides the bandwidth needed to readily accommodate households with multiple users, devices, and simultaneous downloading and streaming.
