Jenny is an ER doctor in New York City. She works out of 3 hospitals. Prior to Covid 19, she worked out of one, but she was approached asking for help at 2 other hospitals and she did not refuse. At one of the hospital's ER she works with only Covid 19 patients. She works 12 hour shifts wearing goggles, face mask and gowns. Because she does not want to contaminate the PPE she is wearing, she does not even have a sip of water during that 12 hour shift. She is experiencing severe skin break down on her face due to wearing the masks for 12 hours each day. She is phenomenal. Jenny cares so much and wants to help everyone. Jenny is a true hero.

I nominate my wife, Shirley. She is a phlebotomist and lead staff at a blood bank. She is an Essential worker and never complains about it. She's an amazing wife and wonderful mother but, last but not least, definitely our hero and yours :)

I would love to nominate my local hero Sara! She has been working double hours since this pandemic happened. When she is not working, she gets grocery shopping done for her elderly neighbors and her parents. She also spends her free time sewing masks for our neighborhood and donates them to medical places, grocery stores and food operations!

Jewel is an EMT, the first one to save a life by getting patients to the hospital. She has not yet met her nephew who was born April 13th. I miss her hugs and kisses. She can't be home because she's scared of getting me sick and getting her niece and nephew sick. She deserves this. I love you so much, Jewel. Thanks for your service.

Ashley is an essential worker at a local gas station. She's been working multiple shifts a day, her own shift and the shifts of those who are sick. She's a mother of two and never complains about working long hours and being away from home. She always has a smile on her face and is very pleasant even though you can tell she's exhausted. If anyone deserves this win, it's Ashley.

I am nominating my daughter Trisha. This is her first year as a registered nurse at the age of 23 and she has already seen more than most nurses see in a lifetime, especially with having to take care of Covid-19 patients. I am very very proud of her for her strength and compassion.
